Kelly-Douglas (Wholesale League) defeated B. C. Telephones (Commercial League) in a sudden-death playoff for the 1913 Vancouver senior amateur baseball championship

(August 23)   Kelly-Dougas qualified for the Vancouver final playoff Saturday downing the Kitsilano Methodists 9 to 5.

(August 30)   The Kelly-Douglas Nabobs quickly ended any suspense over the Vancouver city baseball championship. A six-run splurge in the second inning pretty well put the game on ice. But for good measure they tagged on a run in the third, another in the fourth, three in the fifth, one more in the sixth and seven in the seventh and final frame. In all, a 19-6 lambasting of the BC Telephone nine in the playoff final Saturday afternoon. Robinson went the route on the hill for the winners.
