A pair of stalwarts of the 1934 Ontario Intermediate "B" champion Chatham Colored All-Stars, Wilfred "Boomer" Harding (left) and Earl "Flat" Chase.
The All-Stars were the first black team to compete in the provincial playoffs.
They defeated Penetang and future major league pitcher Phil Marchildon in the final series.
